Aleesha Young established herself as a leading female professional bodybuilder in the second half of the 2010s. Aleesha, born in 1984, is from an athlete's family. Her father worked as a bodybuilder, her siblings also played games like hockey on ice. Aleesha played soccer, softball and basketball prior to when she got into bodybuilding when she was 15. Aleesha was able to earn her professional certification through winning the NPC USA Championships 2014. She first began competing in 2008. In 2014, she competed at the IFBB Wings of Strength PBW Tampa Pro which she placed 9th. In 2015 she maintained her ninth place result. Aleesha placed 6th in both 2015 and 2016 at the IFBB Wings Of Strength Rising Phoenix World Championships. Aleesha is steadily improving and in 2019 she took home her first pro title, in the Chicago Pro Championships. In the year 2020 the bodybuilder completed the best WOS Rising-Phoenix performance in which she finished 4th. However, "Worlds strongest mom" had a brief absence from her sport because of health concerns.
