Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins who is also known as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins within the United States as well as Mexico, is an American Mexican sportscaster. She currently works as working as a sportscaster at ESPN who is also anchor for SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. She joined ESPN as a reporter in the year 2016. She is the child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual and has been since the age of nine. This skill helped her to get her first job with Univision, Miami. She could work as a producer for national programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Then she was hired by her CBS subsidiary of St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. In 2009 she moved to Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as an investigative reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. The stories she wrote about covered immigration drugs, immigration, as well as others on the Texas and Mexico border. While on a vacation Antonietta spent the time at the home of her sister in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sibling had recently gotten a new job. Still a senior in high school but with a clear idea about what she wanted to pursue with her life Antonietta visited at the University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her preferences. It was a beautiful campus as well as offered the level of education she sought. After completing her high school education she enrolled in the university to study media studies. Her professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a student in her class, developed an ongoing friendship with the student. Mark Bergmann inspired her to be self-confident and his enthusiasm for journalism deeply affected her. She was determined to live up to the expectations of him and not failed him.
